Northgate Church of Jesus Christ got its origin and name in March of 2002 as we begin in a store-front building in Northgate Plaza on Redbud Road in Calhoun Georgia, with only 17 in attendance. After being there for 4½ years and growing somewhat, we heard that the old Timms Chapel Church of God at 7727 highway 225 south, Chatsworth Georgia was up for sale, so after a few months we closed on the church on July 7th 2006 and moved in after doing some necessary repairs on July 26th, and the Lord has blessed us to have a real nice place to worship!

We believe that The Church should be a place:
To establish, develop and nurture a relationship with Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
To grow in grace through song, worship, testimony, fasting and prayer.
To enjoy the love of God and fellowship by ‘working’ with others of the same desire
To strengthen marriages and families
To better understand the Lord’s will in our lives
To teach and nurture children according to God’s Word through Sunday School
